Join us for the inaugural PRG KultureCity Birmingham Race on November 16, 2024, in Birmingham, Alabama. This event features a 5K and a 13.1 distance, supporting KultureCity's mission for sensory accessibility.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, the PRG KultureCity Birmingham Race promises a memorable experience. With Birmingham's vibrant cityscape as a backdrop, runners will enjoy a well-organized event with plenty of support and cheer along the route. This is a sensory inclusive event, and support will be onsite for anyone who needs it!

Join us at the Post Race Celebration Party at IronCity on November 16, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM, featuring an exclusive performance by MC4D!

MC4D is the DJ/Producer duo comprised by twin brothers Matt & Chris Drake. Best known for their signature country-dance crossover sound, the brothers have gained an avid and fast-growing fanbase for their popular country-EDM Down Under Mix series (top-charting on SoundCloud U.S. dance charts) and related country remixes, which gained over 10M+ streams in the last year.

The half marathon will start at 7 am followed by the 5K at 7:30 am, and the 1 mile fun run at 9 am.

Yes, both the 13.1 miles and 5K Race are USATF Certified (AL 24024JE).

Yes, both the 13.1 miles and 5K Race will be chipped time.

All race entries are non-refundable.

Water and Powerade will be served at miles 1.5/7.5, 3.5/9.5, and 6/12.

Bathrooms and Portalets will be available at the start, finish and at mile 6.

If possible, we encourage runners to pick up their bibs before race day. However, for those who need to, they can do packet pickup from 6-640 am.
There will also be an opportunity to do race day registration.

We do not recommend using headphones but we leave it up to the athlete on his/ her ability to follow directions and hear the surrounding noises while wearing headphone devices.

After you race your 5K and 13.1 miles, celebrate your accomplishments with us! We will have a post race celebration, a backyard BBQ hosted by Pihakis Restaurant Group with Rodney Scott’s BBQ! Enjoy amazing food and music together with your friends and family!

Yes, bag check will be located at the pavilion. You may use any bag you'd like as long as it is clearly identifiable with your name written on it.
