Most people we come into contact with on a daily basis have attended an event, a concert, a sporting competition, some type of event that they remember and will remember for the rest of their life. We are all extremely grateful we get to experience these events, but there are also others that will never get to, because they suffer from indivisible disabilities that prohibit it. Kulture City is changing that and is currently working with organizations to build sensory rooms throughout the US in stadiums, restaurants, and many other types of venues so that those with indivisible disabilities have a safe place and can take part in these life changing events.
On November 3rd 2024, we will look to tackle the NYC Marathon representing the KultureCity family; the nation’s leading nonprofit on sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities. 1 in 6 individuals have a sensory need or an invisible disability. These are individuals with ptsd, autism, dementia, strokes just to name a few, and need our help.
It’s extra special when you can combine raising money for a great cause and enjoying it with friends. It all started out as a way to spend some time together during a pandemic. Tiki Barber, Jeff Castellano, Joe Fuda, Jeremy Phillips, and Adam Reitz would get together every Saturday morning and push each other to go the extra mile. They were bonded together by friendship, fatherhood, and their love for running. Eventually those 10 mile runs turned into longer runs….and the rest is history.
On November 3rd, Jeff, Joe, Jeremy, and Adam will take on the New York City streets for their 3rd marathon together (Tiki will be calling an NFL game unfortunately).
Will you please help the Jersey Boys hit their amazing goal of $20k for a very special cause?
Thank you all very much for your generosity.
